In order to encourage learning outside the classroom, various clubs are installed under the guidance of SAC. These clubs foster professional and personal growth among the students. In all there are 11 clubs that organise special events, programmes, rallies, lectures and discussion, visit places to strengthen their knowledge and skill sets.
The second year students with a passion for finance gather regularly to analyse and interpret the financial statements of companies, discuss business plans, conduct stock wars and converse with experts in the field, in order to strengthen the prospectus in finance.
The Marketing club known as Marklends for the second years meet every week to discuss emerging areas and trends such as digital marketing and social entrepreneurship. They conduct games and workshops to stimulate marketing activities such as Product Launch, Branding exercises and designing advertisements.
For the second year students who possess people skills and have a passion for interacting with people, the Populace club has been installed. This HR club brings in the expertise from the Industry which enables students to discuss various HR issues, Labour laws, recruitment practices, competency mapping procedures and performance management practices. This nurtures in them the love of human resource.
All second year tech-savvy students join this club to meet regularly to generate new ideas for developing information system, for organisational efficiency and application for specific needs. They learn tools of business analytics and gain hands on experience in analytics through special workshops.
It is an Entrepreneurship club initiated for both first and second year students. In sync with the new initiative of the government’s Start up India, this club aims at encouraging budding entrepreneurs, to explore various possibilities of start ups, and also to become aware of the essentials in starting a business.
In order to cultivate the skills required for planning, organising and executing an event, this club was installed for the I and II year students. The students of this club organise many events, through which they are trained to become capable event managers.
For the students with the passion for Arts and Media, this club was installed which is common to I and II years. It helps them exhibit and develop the talents and abilities.
This club is started in collaboration with the Rotaract City, Trichy Chapter, to provide an opportunity for I and II year students to enhance the knowledge and skills that will assist them in personal development, to address the physical and social needs of their communities, and to promote better relations between all people worldwide.
In order to cater to the personal, professional and academic growth of the first year students this club is installed. To ensure a steady upward progress it conducts various activities and programmes.
To keep abreast of the current events in the campus and the business world, this club is installed for the first year students. An annual newsletter named ‘Cognizance’ is released with the help of the club members.
The first year students with a passion for business and current affairs, this club was installed. Various quiz competitions for students in and outside campus are conducted.
