Dr. Albin D. Robert Lawrence is an Associate Professor of Finance at St. Joseph’s Institute of Management (JIM), St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous), Tiruchirappalli, India. He holds a Ph.D. in Behavioural Finance from Bharathidasan University and brings over 22 years of experience spanning academia, industry, research, and executive education. He has further enhanced his expertise through the Executive Programme in FinTech, Banking and Applied Risk Management from the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow (IIM Lucknow). His teaching and research interests include Behavioural Finance, Financial Decision-Making, Investment Analysis, Financial Markets, FinTech, Personality Traits, and Cognitive Biases in Investor Behaviour. He has published research in reputed national and international journals and has actively guided student and faculty research initiatives. Dr. Lawrence has delivered invited lectures, faculty development programmes, and executive training sessions for academic institutions and industry professionals. He has also served as a Guest Faculty at Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN), Malaysia, sharing insights on finance, entrepreneurship, innovation, and management education. A passionate educator and lifelong learner, he is committed to nurturing future leaders through experiential learning, critical thinking, and industry-relevant education.
