Student Club Activities

JIM conducts a club hour weekly once to mould the personality of the students, motivate their creativity and skills, encourage practical exposure and create a platform to relieve them of monotony. All students are given opportunity to participate in any club of their choice. Five clubs, based on respective domain, operate in campus and are mentioned below:

  • Finovators: The students with passion for finance have periodical gathering to discuss business plan, conduct stock wars, interpret financial statements of companies and converse with field experts. Students often explore to their heights in finance to seek various opportunities in finance.
  • Populace: This club functions on Human Resource issues. The topics of discussion run through labor laws, recruitment practices, competency mapping, procedure and performance management practices. The students design HR tools, performance management system and trains themselves through mock interviews.
  • Marklends: It is a marketing club that meet every week to discuss emerging areas and trends such as digital marketing and social entrepreneurship. Through games and workshops, they stimulate market activities such as product launching and branding exercises and design advertisements..
  • Kerberos: The systems students meet once a week to generate new ideas for developing information system for organizational efficiency and applications for specific need. They attend special workshops and learn tools of business analytics, to obtain hands on experience.
  • Nexus Movers:The students with passion in Supply Chain Management meets once a week to debate on SCM issues and involve in management games to hone their skills. Videos are watched to keep abreast of the latest supply chain strategies..
